The Metal Detecting world Championship event in Gympie on September 27-10th 2019 will now include a Eureka Stockade re-enactment performed by some very committed locals.
The area has been scouted, The sites have been chosen for what will be an exciting and educational event.
We are trying to provide unique experiences at the metal Detecting world championship and I believe the addition of this for us to view will be an amazing experience for everyone.
The stockade will be built and the Diggers Oath will be ring out in the Valley.

Then in a re-enactment of the December Pre-Dawn Raid the troops will storm the diggers with Black Powder Pistols and Rifles. It is rumored that not ONE but TWO cannons may be used in breaking the stockade.
We will just have to wait and see what happens on the Sunday Morning at 11am.
I know a lot of work has gone into this amazing addition to the Metal Detecting world Championship Event and I am sure that all who attend will take away a lasting memory of the battle.
Just another reason to pack up the kids and head down to the metal Detecting world championship event in Gympie.
