This how we will decide the Metal Detecting World Champion Both Junior and senior. Our Hobby is all inclusive so the Girls and the Boys all play together.
How to enter?
You will need to be at the Event on the day of competition in order to enter the Championship.
Registration will be on the FRIDAY before the event and a short registration window will be open on the day of the Championship.
Simply add your details at the registration desk if you wish to participate. Registration and participation is FREE of charge for those with event tickets.
How to Win and become the Metal Detecting World Champion!
- The field of entrants will be split into groups (Size depending on Number of entrants)
- Each group will then compete on a set site looking for planted targets for a set period of time. Simply the person(s) with the highest score move through to the next round.
- This process is continued until we have a head to head battle and the winner is Crowned the Metal Detecting World Champion.
The FULL Rules and regulations will be released very soon so you can make sure you know how to give yourself the best chance of winning on the day.
This is a COMPETITION based on skill and a little bit of luck as well, the targets will be shallow and there will be targets that aren’t competition tokens.
The Competition is designed to give as many people as possible the chance to become the Metal Detecting world Champion and not restrict it to those with the best Gear or the most years of experience.
The Competition is designed to be FUN and not taken too seriously so please compete with the spirit of FUN and be gracious in both Victory and defeat on the day, there will be other years and there’s plenty more to do at the Event.
